ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT TRAINING IN ORATHUR VILLAGE, KUNDRATHUR BLOCK, KANCHIPURAM DISTRICT, TAMILNADU – 19^th December 2022

Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, SRM Institute of Science and Technology (UBA SRMIST) conducted an Entrepreneurship Development Training on Tailoring to Empower Self Help Group Women at Orathur village, Kundrathur block, Kanchipuram District, Tamil Nadu in association with Equitas – small Financial bank from 23^rd November to 6^th December 2022.  The program was conducted at Panchayat Office, Orathur village, Kanchipuram District - Tamilnadu.

On 23^rd November 2022, we had a discussion with rural women and SHGs through panchayat president Mrs. Valli sundar and Mr. Sundar of Orathur Village regarding their needs and interest in livelihood promotion. Based on their interest and needs We jointly organized Entrepreneurship development skill training for them.

 

                                          Pre-Training Course Conducted on 23^rd November 2022

The program started by welcome address given by Dr. T.Deepa, Associate Professor, , Dept. ECE, SRM IST.  It was followed by presidential address was by Dr. V. Thirumurugan Associate Director (CL) and UBA Nodal officer. He has mentioned about the schemes which SRM IST is running through Village adaption programme in the Chengalpattu (Dt.)
