In alignment with the
vision and mission of ‘Go Extra Mile’s Community Outreach program initiative ‘Sahyog’
and to celebrate the spirit of International Education Day: 24 January, a
workshop on ‘Effective Digital Learning for Government school students’ in
association with Evergrowth Academy, was conducted for the 6th and 7th
class students at Chettipunniyam Government School on Friday, 31.01.2025.
29 students in total (3
from BBA and 23 from MBA) conducted several activities for the students, with
guidance from G.E.M. Coordinator – Dr. Nagalakshmi M.V.N.
FoM students gained valuable insights and learning
experiences by hands-on "community engagement" or
"service-learning”.
By engaging with children
from the government school, primarily by acting as mentors or tutors for a
day, helping to bridge educational gaps and understand the challenges faced by
underprivileged students while simultaneously developing their own teaching
skills and social awareness.
