This initiative was aimed at spreading awareness about the importance of cleanliness, sanitation, and environmental responsibility among school children and the local community. The event brought together second-year students from the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics departments, who participated in the drive to promote a cleaner and healthier environment. <span style="text-align: left;">The primary objectives of the cleanliness drive were: </span>To instill a sense of cleanliness and responsibility among students and the community, to create awareness about the importance of maintaining clean surroundings for better health and well-being, to enhance the students' understanding of environmental conservation and hygiene practices and to contribute positively to the community by involving students in social welfare activities.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; The students were divided into different teams and assigned specific areas to clean. The students actively participated, working in coordination to complete the cleaning tasks effectively. They were guided by faculty members and local volunteers, ensuring that the work was done efficiently and with care. After the completion of the cleanliness activities, an awareness session was conducted for the students of Singa Perumal Koil Middle School. The premises of Singa Perumal Koil Middle School were thoroughly cleaned, leaving the environment fresh and inviting. The students demonstrated great enthusiasm and teamwork throughout the drive. The awareness session had a positive impact, and students expressed their intention to continue practicing cleanliness and share their learning with others in their community.
